| Abstract |
In this lab you receive your first exposure to programming a MSP430 microcontroller (the MSP430G2553 20–pin chip included with the MSP–EXP430G2ET LaunchPad). Energia is a free integrated development environment (IDE) that provides a C/C++ coding platform, and a user–friendly interface for uploading code into the microcontroller (MSP430G2553). As part of this lab an oscilloscope is used to observe the timing of events happening within the microcontroller as it executes the uploaded code. |
