Reliability and Mean Life Assessment of Solar Panel by Cooling

Abstract Environmental factors, temperature, and humidity cause the degradation of solar panels, as the electricity generation solar panel happens by the solar irradiance falling to the PV surface, but as a consequence, the temperature of solar cells also rises due to solar irradiance, which degrades the life of the solar panel. The work aims to assess the reliability and mean life by using two degradation models and assessing them for different cooling techniques. While carrying out this work, two degradation methods, i.e. Erying degradation and Peck degradation, were considered. According to both of these equations, the degradation depends on the parameters of temperature and relative humidity.
