| Abstract |
In this lab you interface a 16x2 LCD display with the MSP430G2553 microcontroller. This display is used in subsequent labs to output data from the microcontroller. There are many varieties of 16x2 LCD displays and in this lab we use one that accepts data input in parallel format (versus serial format) and has a backlight which makes it much easier to see. |
